The predictions coming from the so-called experts are bold – there will be a temporary blip in the economy and house prices this year followed by a fast recovery starting in 2021.

House prices will drop a little, but will then bounce right back and grow by double digits in percentage terms within a few years.

But is that really what’s going to happen. Is this going to be a quick v-shaped recession?
